The Flink offers your company cloud services meeting the highest standards in service quality and security, coupled with high flexibility and scalability. Operation of the cloud infrastructure and the storage of data are guaranteed to take place at high availability exclusively via data centres in Germany, which are subject to the German data protection laws. All data centres are certified to ISO 27001:2005 and ISO 9001:2008. Flinkservices are available around the clock, whereby their correct functioning is continuously monitored. Data protection and support – the highest standards in the Flink
For us, data protection is more than just a buzzword. Flink offers what is currently the highest possible level of data protection – allowing you to rest easy that your data is secure. An external, specialised data protection officer continuously evaluates and monitors the Flink services. They are gladly on hand at all times to answer any questions you may have. To ensure that our systems and processes are always up to date, data protection audits are conducted twice a year. All technical and organisational measures relating to data protection are documented in our data protection handbook, and these measures and the data protection handbook are continuously adjusted to the changing data protection requirements. As you can see, we do absolutely everything in our power to ensure that your data is safe with us.
We are here for you: as a Flink customer, you will have access to our Helplink service desk. All reports, errors, etc. are documented here. The IT experts on our service desk are available to assist Flink customers in German and English around the clock via telephone, email, and the web portal according to the service level agreement (SLA) times selected. A standard SLA has been assigned for each service in the Flink. Upon request, this can be extended or adjusted entirely individually to suit your needs. Certified and qualified
The ISO 27001 standard is an internationally-recognised standard for IT security that covers all requirements of a documented information security management system (ISMS), including the IT risks within an organisation. All Flink services are operated from German data centres certified to ISO 27001:2005. Our ISMS, emergency handbook, and emergency supply concept are also oriented to the according standards (EN 2700x) in addition to the recommendations of the German Federal Office for Information Security (Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik, BSI). Our IT security concept is continuously reviewed and developed further, and audits are conducted by an external security officer twice a year. Allowing you as a Flink customer to be sure that we are always on the safe side in terms of the organisation and technology.
As an internationally-recognised standard for quality management, the ISO 9001 standard covers the requirements of a quality management system that a company must implement to fulfil customer specifications and requirements of the product and service quality. All of the data centres used for the Flink are certified to ISO 9001:2008, and the team behind the Flink, Netzlink Informationstechnik GmbH, also holds the according certification. So not only do we say that quality is extremely important to us, we also have the according certification to prove this. And because the certification must be renewed every year, you can always be certain that the quality of our processes and products is continuously monitored and improved.

ITIL v3 is a collection of best practice methods for IT business processes. This compendium, which is recognised and used across the industry, contains instructions and examples for the provision of outstanding IT services and set-up of the necessary technical infrastructure. Within this, the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is oriented to the economic added value that an IT system brings customers. One focus lies in the streamlining, standardisation, and acceleration of service processes, for example, which is of particular benefit to you as a customer. All Flink IT service processes are oriented to ITIL v3, and our IT technicians hold the according training and certification. Allowing you to rest assured that we also will not get bogged down during complex projects, but rather will always maintain an overview and act efficiently thanks to our standards for IT processes.
